Mady's Song
My friend Oma’s beloved grand-daughter, Mady,
died suddenly at the age of six.
Oma spent some time in Mady’s room, soon after her death,
remembering all that they had shared.
She felt Mady’s presence with her as she sat there and,
picking up pen and paper, found herself writing
what she felt coming from Mady in that moment,
a deep and clear communication of the heart.
These are the words that came to her from Mady.
